| Dismantler |
|
Dismantlers are facilities where ELV may be delivered by their owners, free of charge.
The ELV are then submitted to the following operations: depolution (battery and fluids removal, neutralization of pyrotechnic components) and dismantling of components for reuse and recycling (reusable parts, catalytic converters, tyres, glass, big plastic components).
All the components removed through dismantling operations are sent to reuse or recovery, or to controlled disposal sites, if no recovery options are available.
The dismantled ELV (hulks) are then sent to Shredder Operators.
In order to become part of VALORCAR’s NETWORK, a Dismantler must sign a contract with VALORCAR, and comply with the Dismantler Specifications defined by VALORCAR.
