In the month of may, VALORCAR promoted an ELV processing campaign, supported by 3Drivers, aiming at the assessment of the average metallic content to be applied in the evaluation of the recycling and recovery targets for ELV in Portugal.
ELV dismantling and fragmentation tests were carried out in this campaign, which involved the participation of the following VALORCAR NETWORK ATF's:

• AUTO IC2 - Importação de Veículos e Peças Auto, Lda
• RSA - Reciclagem de Sucatas Abrantina, SA
• AMBIGROUP Resíduos, SA
• AMBIGROUP Reciclagem, SA
• METAIS JAIME DIAS, SA
An identical campaign was carried out by VALORCAR in 2011, in which an average metallic content of around 74% was determined.
