VALORCAR has distributed this year 150 new containers suitable for battery waste storage, continuing an initiative started in 2016.
Electrolyte leakage is the biggest environmental risk associated with the management of battery waste. Electrolyte is usually a sulfuric acid solution and for this reason it is very important that the batteries are properly packaged in leak-proof containers. To minimize this risk and raise awareness among the various players in the battery waste collection chain (distributors, workshops, transporters, collection centers, etc.) VALORCAR has distributed 150 new watertight containers to 41 VALORCAR NETWORK centers.
