In November, VALORCAR participated in a training session for Food and Economic Security Authority (ASAE) inspectors. This initiative took place at the authority's facilities in Castelo Branco and was attended by 30 people.
At the beginning of December, VALORCAR also participated in a training course for guards from the Nature and Environment Protection Service (SEPNA) of the National Republican Guard, organized by this entity and the Portuguese Environment Agency. This action took place at the Guard School in Queluz, with the participation of approximately 30 sergeants and guards.
In these actions, several topics related to the management of end-of-life vehicles and battery waste were addressed, such as: disposal documentation, pollution control and dismantling operations for ELVs, necessary equipment, recovery and recycling destinations, and the main economic and environmental irregularities identified in the waste management.
